Silent Walk to raise awareness of drug deaths

A walk will take place in Bancroft on Friday, to honour victims of drug-related deaths.

It’s called the Silent Walk. It starts at 1 p.m. from the Ontario Addiction Treatment Centre at 89 Hastings St. N.

The walk is put on by North Hastings Community Trust. In a social media post, the Trust says

it’s to “honour the lives lost to overdoses, suicides and the war on people who use drugs.”
