The Canada Day weekend is upon us and there’s lots of fun stuff happening in our region on Saturday, when the country turns 156 years old.
The Bancroft celebration is at Riverside Park, from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
Carlow-Mayo is hosting a celebration at Foster Lake Park, just off Boulter Road, starting at 1 p.m. There will be games and a silent auction. The event is also a fundraiser to fix the Foster Lake Rink.
Wollaston is hosting a celebration, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coe Hill Legion. It will feature food, music and games.
And Tudor & Cashel’s celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tudor and Cashel Community Centre. It will have free burgers and hot dogs, activities and music.
