Bancroft is getting a cool treat on Thursday, Aug. 10.
The town’s Dairy Queen franchise is participating in Miracle Treat Day.
On this day, proceeds from Blizzards will be donated to SickKids hospital in Toronto.
Also, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., the Bancroft Fire Department will host a barbecue at the location. Firefighters will be selling hamburgers, french fries and onion rings with proceeds also going to SickKids.
The Dairy Queen is located at 30 Hastings St. N. and will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
