Bancroft OPP has charged five people, following a break and enter investigation in Hastings Highlands.
Police were called to Mooney Road at about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8.
The five people arrested are all from outside the area.
They include a 40-year-old and a 45-year-old from Milton, plus a 40-year-old and 31-year-old from Puslinch. Each was charged with possession of property obtained by crime. They remain in custody.
A fifth arrested was a 19-year-old from Erin, who faces the same charge, plus a charge of possession of meth. That person was given a court date in Bancroft on September 26.
