A CT scanner has arrived at North Hastings Hospital; the very scanner the community has been fundraising for.

The CT scanner has been the subject of North Hastings Fund Development Committee’s Back the Cat campaign.
Donations to that campaign are still being accepted, as the community is in the homestretch of the plan to raise about $2.8 million needed to cover the purchase and construction costs.
The CT scanner’s late-November arrival is on target. Hospital staff has already started training to use the machine and it could start treating patients in the coming weeks.
