The number of unvaccinated students in Hastings and Prince Edward counties has dropped significantly since the start of the year.
Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health says the amount has decreased from 4,400 to 44 since the start of 2017. That means 96 per cent of students in the area have up-to-date immunization records.
The health unit says that will help protect students and staff from preventable diseases.
