AGB holding opening reception tonight for both of their 2025 artists-in-residence

The Art Gallery of Bancroft is hosting an opening reception for this month’s exhibition, called Finding Community.

The exhibition features artwork from two artists-in-residence that the gallery hosted in 2025, Kayla St-Pierre and Elizabeth Broere Jackson.

St-Pierre produces oil paintings and is based in Guelph, but took the opportunity to do a residency in Bancroft in May.

Broere Jackson splits her time between North Kawartha and Newfoundland, and much of the work from her residency in November featured colourful seaside houses.

The exhibition this month brings both artists’ work together.

The opening reception is tonight at 7:30 p.m.
