Bancroft’s 2017 Relay for Life has raised thousands of dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Teams Coordinator Leeyann Tomasini says this year’s event raised just shy of $77,000 this past weekend. Thirteen teams took part this year.
The money will be put towards research, the Wheels of Hope program, which provides transportation for cancer patients, and a hotline for cancer patients.
