Bancroft Receives Special Camouflage

A special pattern of Camouflage has been licenced to Bancroft.

The pattern is the design of Tyler Lukas, founder of Aspen Grove. Lukas says the camouflage came about after he wanted to create a new pattern out of rock. The rock that was sampled came from the Eagles Nest. He said he really enjoyed the colors, and when the pattern was sent to council, they enjoyed it as well.

Since he has made the pattern however, Lukas says that there has been a change in manufacturer. As a result, the pattern will not be printed on sweaters anytime soon. However, products with the pattern will soon be made for things like coffee mugs and wrapping paper. Lukas says that he plans to have the pattern licensed to the township and businesses so they can sell it in their own stores. When the manufacturer is up and running, Lukas says companies can put the pattern on whatever they want.

A price has not been set yet for these products. Lukas says that is up to the township to figure out. He plans to start selling products with the pattern in about a month.
