An Oshawa man has been charged with aggravated assault after a domestic dispute in Highlands East.
It happened early Sunday morning.
Bancroft OPP says the female victim managed to get away from the dispute and called police. She was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
On top of aggravated assault, a 35-year-old has been charged with assault, mischief under $5,000, seven counts of failing to comply with recognizance, and four of failing to comply with probation.
Police continue to investigate.
