Hastings Highlands residents are being asked to give ideas to help their municipality with its next Strategic Plan.
Bancroft’s northern neighbour has released a survey. The answers will help guide council and staff with future decisions.
The survey is anonymous. It asks questions such as “what do you value most about Hastings Highlands?” and “what new opportunities could Hastings Highlands explore?”
The survey is available from the municipality’s website and paper copies can be picked up at several locations within Hastings Highlands, including at the municipal office in Maynooth.
Hastings Highlands Mayor Tony Fitzgerald says, “Gathering input from individuals who live, work and use services in Hastings Highlands is crucial to understanding the community’s needs and to set and track realistic objectives and goals.”
He adds that survey answers will be used “to develop detailed annual plans, inform budgets, and direct resources where they are most needed.”
